Camp Day at South Fork Park

We decided to prove my 'we are not a camping family' statement wrong and on Saturday we went on our very first Tita Family Camp Day. We packed early in the morning and by 6:30 we had found the perfect spot at South Fork Park.
We set up shop in a secluded place by the river. We even brought a small tent that we hid in between the trees for naps.  Breakfast consisted of hot-chocolate and bagels and it was DELICIOUS!!

The Difference between being photogenic. . .

and not!

The place was SO beautiful and it felt great to be in nature. We ate, played, explored and believe it or not got the chance to view our first Pirate themed Wedding. The groom was dressed like Captain Jack Sparrow the bride like a pirate queen and the guests all made a merry bunch of scallywags.
We taught dad how to play Uno. He became a pro!
Stefani's favorite part of the day was our water balloon fight.
Mom kicked every one's butt at Canasta.
And Ariel was the ultimate Cranium winner.
All in all it was an extremely wonderful day! We stayed late into the afternoon and we can't wait to go back. I've never been happier to be proven wrong. I guess we can be a camping family.

Memorial Day

SALEM POND

Monday was a blast! Mom surprised us with a picnic at Salem Pond.  We spent all day eating hot dogs and roasting marshmallows. The weather was beautiful and the scenery was even better.
Ariel and Stefani watching the ducks on the pond while they talk.
Mom's food was DELICIOUS!

Sience Fair!

Stefani had her Science Fair today and she was really excited for it. Her project consisted on determining which of her chosen substances would be the fastest to dissolve a Dum-Dum sucker. She's hoping to get into the finals and go on to Nebo. Good luck Stef!! We're proud either way!

Happy Birthday Dad!!!

44 years!!!
This year Dad's Birthday was a two day affair; complete with two cakes, friends, family, coworkers, and LOTS of food!! It was so great to spend time with our loved ones. There was fun to be had, jokes to be told, and we even threw in a song or two. (Guadalupe le canto a Papa) Next year we might just have to extend it to a third day! I'm sure Dad wouldn't have any complaints about that! *wink*
